| Anagallis tenella | Primulaceae | Bog Pimpernel |
Description - This plant is smaller than the commoner Scarlet Pimpernel, and the flowers do not open as wide. They are pink and no higher than 2 cm. Leaves are simple and insignificant.
Habitat - The Bog Pimpernel only grows in very damp areas, such as marshy meadows or next to springs.
Comments - Rather a rare plant, but sometimes covering quite large areas, such as a lawn near L'Ancresse, which is low-lying and damp.
