Description - A small plant, but found in clumps, often covering a square metre or so.Leaves and stems are a pale green, the leaves being very well cut, almost feathery I appearance. The tiny white flowers are followed by oval seed cases covered in hooked hairs.

Habitat - Mainly around the coast in poor, sandy soils.

Comments - Once uncommon, this plant has increased dramatically since the 1950s, and can now be found in most coastal areas.It is relatively short-lived, not often being seen before April and disappearing by the end of July.
