Description - A tiny plant, no more than a few centimeters high, this is one of several very similar Mouse-Ears and Chickweeds ocurring in Guernsey. This has four white, deeply divided petals, and four stamens. The small,oval leaves are covered in thick downy hair.

Habitat - This is mainly a coastal plant, growing in short turf on commons and cliffs. it generally dries up by the end of June.

Comments - Some of these white-flowered Mouse-ears are very hard to tell apart. Note numbers of petals and sepals, length of sepals, and whether some or all hairs on leaf and stem are glandular (with minute sticky blobs on them)
