Description - Plant reaches about 20cm, with a cluster of leaves and yellowish bracts at the apex, and oval stem leaves which are usually red, as is the stem.
Habitat - Mainly coastal, it can grow in crevices of rocks or walls, with very little soil.
Comments - This plant has a restricted distribution on mainland Britain, only occurring in the south west, around the coasts. It is common in all the Channel Islands.
