| Lotus angustissimus | Fabaceae | Slender Bird's-foot Trefoil |
| Picture 1 | With seed pod |
Description - Small, yellow pea-flowers, one or two in a head, on a very short stalk.Long, slender pods are formed, which can help to separate it from the similar L. subbiflorus, which has shorter pods. The plant is covered in a short down.
Habitat - Dry grassland in short turf, and sides of coastal paths.
Comment - Much rarer than L. subbiflorus, which grows in similar habitats. The latter is hairy, rather than downy, and flowers are usually darker orange.
