Description - A small, straggling Clover plant, with rounded flowerheads in the leaf axils. The tiny pea-flowers are white, and the flowerhead is less dense than that of Clustered Clover, Trifolium glomeratum, nor do the sepals turn back as in that species.

Habitat - Usually near the coast, in poor sandy soil, in the same situation as T. glomeratum, and often growing with it.

Comments - Slightly more common than T. glomeratum or T. striatum, but like them so small as to be overlooked. They are all at their best in May - June, after which they tend to dry up, especially in a dry year.
