| Trifolium suffocatum | Fabaceae | Suffocated Clover |
Description - This plant will be seen as small dark green circles, almost flat on the ground, with a paler centre.Clusters of very small, white pea flowers will be found in the centre if closly examined, but it will be a hands and knees job! Leaves are toothed and have typical clover form of three leaflets, and are barely 5mm long.
Habitat - This is found on paths, and in areas of almost bare soil, usually, but not always, near the coast.
Comments - Not uncommon, but so small that it is probably not noticed unless you are looking!
